What We Do

Care Built for People Who Don't Want to Stop Moving

From Physical Therapy to performance training, every service is designed to keep you active and in the game.

Physical Therapy

1:1 performance-focused PT to get you out of pain and back to lifting, running, and sport.

Strength Training

Performance programming to build strength, train smarter, and stay consistent in your sport or life.

Injury Prevention

Proactive programming to reduce recurring injuries and keep you training without constant interruptions.

Why Lange Sports Medicine

Performance-Minded PT That Keeps You in the Game

Most clinics put you on a table, hand you to an aide, and tell you to rest. Here, you get one-on-one physical therapy, strength, conditioning and a plan of care built around keeping you in training, not pulling you out of it.

One Clinician, Every Session

Every visit is a full 55-minute session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. No techs, no aides, no handoffs, just focused 1:1 care.

Here's what Studio City athletes are saying.

Dylan Lange is truly a wonderful physical therapist. His knowledge and expertise are phenomenal, as is his dedication. He helped me conquer a nagging neck problem that I had nearly given up on, and I'm so grateful to have found him. Very highly recommend.

Maria
As a fellow PT, I have had the opportunity to see Dylan work in a professional capacity for several years, and I can say with confidence that any person who wants to move better, improve function, and achieve long-lasting exercise goals is in good hands when working with him.
Rebecca Pedras

Caroline Haymaker
F45 Studio City collaborating with Dylan was such a treat. With Hyrox coming up and trying to stay consistent with my training, this session was exactly what I needed. Dylan was personable, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to understand. I walked out with better technique, more mobility awareness, and a clearer idea of where to focus next. Really grateful for the experience.
Jenica Nanao
Working with Dylan has been very helpful to get back on track. He gave me the impression that he is really invested in his client's progress.
John S
Dylan did a great job in identifying my injuries and putting together a comprehensive program for recovery. His attention and follow up is the best.

FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most from athletes and active adults in Studio City.

Do you take insurance?

We're a cash-based practice, which means you pay directly, no insurance billing. We accept cash, credit card (paid in full or in installments), and HSA/FSA. We can also provide a superbill you may be able to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Can I keep training while I'm in PT?

That's the goal. Our approach is built around keeping you active and in training wherever safely possible. We'll work around your schedule and your sport, not ask you to put everything on hold.

How many visits will I need?

It varies based on your injury, goals, and timeline. After your evaluation, you'll receive a clear plan of care so you know what to expect and can plan accordingly. We don't do open-ended care, you'll always know where you stand.

What kinds of issues do you treat?

Many people come to us for shoulder, knee, hip, and back pain affecting their workouts, as well as running injuries, ankle sprains, ACL rehab, post-op recovery, and overuse issues. If you're not sure whether we're the right fit, a free phone consult is the best place to start.

Do you offer telehealth or remote programming?

Yes. Telehealth sessions are available, and we offer remote and hybrid performance programming for athletes and active adults who need flexibility in how they work with us.

Do I need a referral from a doctor to start?

No referral needed to get started!California is a direct access state, which means you can begin physical therapy without seeing a physician first. If we determine that a referral is needed for further medical evaluation or care, we’ll point you in the right direction. For insurance reimbursement purposes, a physician referral is required if your treatment extends beyond 45 calendar days or 12 visits — whichever comes first. If you're not submitting for reimbursement, no referral is necessary.

What are your cancellation/refund policies?

Great questions and important to know! I always like to make things as transparent as possible:
In the event that you need to change your upcoming appointment(s) or cancel for any reason, please contact us no later than 12:00 NOON the business day prior to avoid a late reschedule/cancellation fee ($125). Monday appointments must be rescheduled by NOON on the preceding Friday. Regarding refunds, all purchases—including but not limited to evaluations, pay-as-you-go visits, plan of care, memberships, performance training sessions, and other services—are non- refundable after 7 days from the date of purchase. Please review our policies more in-depth in your intake paperwork or by clicking on this file:
